The suburb’s state school, North Lakes State College, has two campuses. The Year 10-12 campus is known as the “Urban Learning Centre”, and is located beside the Pathways centre in the Town centre. The $12 million project was completed December 2007. This is due to be extended to accommodate the unexpected large number of students, in the next 12 months.
The suburb has a State College, which serves Prep to Year 12 students, and a Private College, which will serve Prep to Year 7, starting in 2008.
